Dare 2017
Cia Perversos Polimorfos

Picture: Fábio Furtado
“Dare” is a dance performance that starts with the question: “What body do I have left to dance?”.
This work was developed in a study process under the direction of Ricardo Gali in partnership with the dancers Aline Brasil, Daniela Moraes and Layla Bucaretchi.
A survey was based on rock, films by Alejandro Jodorowsky and David Lynch.
Choreographic dramaturgy starts from a desert that looks like the end that has not been seen. The place to make the other dare.
This work at performed at SESC Pinheiros in 2017.
Synopsis
Rock is stone. Stone is something that lasts and persists in the wind. A body that trembles out of sync, just the energy needed to survive.
A state of readiness for the eternal restart. Fighting body. cycle of withdrawal, resistance, persevere, reinvent. Explosion and fall.
Speak what doesn't exist. sings what doesn't exist. asks for those who are gone. talks about what is present, about the paths we want to go, like Alice in Wonderland.
Resist in an arid moment under a cultural dismantling. I don't know if I slap my face and wake up from my mediocre dream?
Bonobo monkeys dance and are bisexual. The irony of being there, when everything falls apart.
It identifies itself or recreates itself.
