PERVERSE ESSAYS FESTIVAL- 2021

São Paulo

On the first two Mondays and Tuesdays of December – 6th and 7th, 13th and 14th of December, Companhia Perversos Polimorfos launches, in São Paulo, the 'Festival Ensaios Perversos', an extended version of its “Ensaios Perversos”, a program since 2016 and which, in recent times, has taken place in online mode. In fact, there will be two premieres: the event also marks the inauguration of the ‘Canto’, a new cultural space in the city, located next to the Sumaré Metro Station, which elected the Festival to open its doors to the public.

PERVERSE ESSAYS FESTIVAL- 2021

Botucatu

On November 26, 27 and 28, Companhia Perversos Polimorfos launches, in partnership with Espaço OCA – Organizacao Corpo e Arte, from Botucatu, the 'Ensaios Perversos Festival', an extended version of the program “Ensaios Perversos”, held since 2016 , in the capital of São Paulo. Botucatu was chosen to host the Festival in order to collaborate with the dissemination of shows produced in the city and its surroundings, given the large number of dance and performance companies in the region. In this way, the Festival brings a significant, albeit partial, sample of dance production, largely from these poles.

An intense and diversified daily program will be distributed, between 6 pm and 12 pm, in three independent moments – “Conversas sem Fim”, always with a good chat on topics related to ethics, politics and economics of culture; “Preliminaries”, with the presentation of shows or performances; and “Dance Floor”, a space-party with a dance floor run by a DJ, to make everyone dance before returning home. The action proposes to generate fertile environments that sow studies, discussions and artistic sharing, to collaborate with cultural strengthening from the development of creative networks between artists from different segments and languages, as well as the expansion of the public promoting new forms of sociability.
